Rhonda Holbrook Long, 61, was born in Newport, AR, September 4, 1960, and passed Christmas day 2021. She leaves behind her son, Scott Long (Laura); two sisters, Becky Hinkle and Pat Human; special uncle, Jimmy Sutherland.
Rhonda lived a simple life and was an incredibly happy person. She was a special lady who attended Mid-South Health System, which she loved so very much because the people in her school were special also, and understood her. They loved her for just being Rhonda, and she in return, loved them. She considered them all friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Boyd Holbrook and Gladys Holbrook, her brother, Danny Holbrook, and one favorite nephew, Robert Brock. She left behind a host of other favorite nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In Gratitude:
The staff at Mid-South Health Systems was truly kind and helpful with Rhonda. They would visit her, pray with her, check on her needs and even bring her dinner. She loved everyone at Mid-South and was thankful for everything anyone ever did for her. A special thanks to Valencia Love, Dannielle Cox and Verneda Howard, among others.
The staff at East Ark, a special thanks to everyone. The staff always asked about Rhonda, making sure she was okay. Joe Magines, Jeff Reynolds, and the pharmacy staff that always checked on her to make sure she was okay.

Ms. Rhonda will be missed so very much. She was the nicest, giving, selfless, most kind person. Every day that I had to speak to her, she would wave me down and say hi, ask how I was doing, and most likely offer me a bag of chips or a drink. She was eager to give to others. I believe that was her love language. She always had time for others and offered a kind word or a sincere compliment. Heaven truly gained an angel.
