Jerry Bruce Williams, 70 of Hagarville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jerry was born, March 21, 1951, in Oark, Arkansas to Eugene and Opal (Stepp) Williams. Jerry retired from Arkansas State Highway Department after 42 years. Jerry enjoyed farming, turkey hunting, working on tractors and he enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry was a member of the Hagarville Store and was known for his Gift of Gab.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Opal (Stepp) Williams.
He survived by his wife of 50 years Sheila (Johnson) Williams; two daughters Heather (Marc) Lawrence of Lamar; Holly (Nathan) Sanderson of Strawberry Loop; three grandsons Caleb Bruce Sanderson, Sawyer Lee Sanderson, and Liam Allen Lawrence; two brothers Don (Ann) Williams of Clarksville, and Terry (Elizabeth) Williams of Monticello; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Hagarville Cemetery with Jacky Townsell officiating. Burial will follow with Terry Yancy, Caleb Sanderson, Mike Morgan, Jon Williams, JT Williams, and Cal Adney serving as Pallbearers. John Hull, David Melson, Keith Stepp, Troy Terry, David Mayers and John Rego serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

To all the Williams family, my wife Kay and I only knew Jerry for a short time but felt like from the first time we met him we had known him for a lifetime. Jerry was one of a kind and we loved him because he was true to himself. A great friend and co-grandparent always there when you needed him.
