Earl Walker Whitman, 76, of Ozark, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Little Rock.
He was born October 7, 1945 in Paris to his parents, Houston C. Whitman and Muriel Lorene (Walker) Whitman. Earl worked as a radiology technician at the hospital in Ozark and was a member of the First Baptist church in Paris. Earl also served in the Arkansas National Guard for twenty years before retiring. He loved his family and would do anything for them. In his spare time he loved to go hunting and fishing and working out in the yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above and two brothers, Muriel and Mike Whitman.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Carolyn Sue (Henderson) Whitman of the home; two daughters, Scenda Pfeiffer-Teague of Ozark and Char Wells and husband, Ben of Fayetteville; one brother, David Whitman of Paris; two sisters, Erma Smith and husband, Guy of Fort Smith and Linda Trusty of Paris; three grandchildren, Tyler Morris, William Warren and Kaitlin Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Melody, Piper and Graham Wilson; other family members and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
