Shirley (Swaim) Jones, 73, of Limedale passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
She was born October 11, 1948 in Batesville to Ernest ''Jack'' Swaim and Anna Lee (Stroud) Swaim.
Shirley was a beauty operator for 53 years and gave more than just haircuts to those in need. She led the Barnes Cemetery Board and was a devoted Christian, as a dedicated member of the Bethesda Campground United Methodist Church. She was a loyal servant of the community and fed the shut in's and enjoyed cooking and welcoming all into her home. Shirley was the glue that held her family together because family meant everything to her. She loved basketball and in High School, she scored 52 points during one game for the Cushman Bulldogs. Her hobbies included, cooking, caring for others, watching the Hogs, loved Hallmark movies, and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Tommy Jones of the home; one son, David Jones (Kari) of Batesville; one daughter, Kelsey Jones of Limedale; two brothers, Jackie Swaim (Diane) of Limedale and Michale Swaim (Cathy) of Limedale; two sisters, Anna Faye Shaw (James) of Bethesda and Carolyn Jones (Johnny) of Limedale; six grandchildren; Garrett Ballard (Samantha), Ransom Jones, Luke Seaton, Tanner Jones, Emma Jones, and Sophie Seaton; one great-grandchild, Greyson Ballard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two nephews Brandon Kimmer and Alex Shaw.
Memorial Services and a Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Bethesda Campground United Methodist Church. All family and friends are welcomed to attend. Arrangements were made by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

This just breaks my heart. Shirley was truly a saint on this earth. She would do anything to help everyone. She was such a hard worker. She just never stopped. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. I know God has a special place in heaven for her. I will miss her so very much.
