John Calvin Potter, 95, of Little Rock, passed away on December 15, 2021. He was born on December 12, 1926, in Enola, Arkansas, to John Calvin and Rose Potter.

He had several occupations over his lifetime. He retired from Rol-Lift where he worked as a machinist. He enjoyed working in his yard, planting, and tending to his garden. Sharing his bounty with neighbors and friends. The honor of being "Papa" was his greatest joy of all.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Furr Potter; son Calvin Wayne Potter; brother, Roy Potter; six sisters, Jewell Bailey, Montine Roland, Ephlene Austen, Peraline Potter, Christeen Potter and Atheline Potter.

He is survived by his daughter, Terry Kersey of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Debbie Potter of Houston, Texas; four grandsons, Michael Potter, Jason Potter, Kevin Potter (Erin), all of Houston, Texas and Nick Kersey (Kathryn) of Bryant, Arkansas; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 5-7PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 10AM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
