Altie "Sally" Miles

February 11, 1944 - December 16, 2021

Altie ''Sally'' Miles, 77, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Caraway, AR on February 11, 1944 to Milo and Mary Stallings. Altie has worked in home healthcare and was a member of the Lunsford Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, coloring and working on puzzles.

Altie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 26 years, Calvin Miles; son, Matthew Richey; and brothers, James Stallings and Westley ''Buck'' Stallings.

She is survived by her daughter Annette (Frank) Thomas; grandchildren, Christopher Respalie and Misty (Michael) Ostermiller; great grandchildren, Serenity Respalie, Leland Ostermiller, Eli Ostermiller, Koltin Ostermiller, Chris Ostermiller, Kevin Ostermiller, and Amberly Holt; daughter-in-law, Trina Richey, two grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; brother, Leo Stallings; sisters, Laura Bell Minik and Ruth Oberg.

Chapel services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 20, 2021, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR, with Ron Langston officiating. Pallbearers include Don Oberg, John David Oberg, Michael Ostermiller, Kevin Thomas, Shawn Bell and Derick Patsey. Serving as Honorary Bearer is Steve Hickey. Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service from 1-2 PM.
