Your kindness and beautiful smile will surely be missed. I enjoyed you coming to the beauty shop with your willingness to try new things. I will never forget you. I pray for comfort for family and friends at this time. I know Jesus has a special angel with him now.

Barbara was my friend for over 60 years. Bro David was our pastor at Brister Baptist Church when I was a teenager. Barbara was just 5 years older than me, but I thought she was the adult and I was the child. I looked up to her then and now. Barbara and I stayed in touch all those years. I'll miss her.

I was given the opportunity to give her a ride to Sunday School once in awhile, but then it turned into a chance to do it every Sunday, I look forward to each Sunday. (I was the Boss on Sunday's lol.) We had many great talks a lady with such profound Wisdom. It always gave me great comfort to know that she prayed for me daily. She captured my heart and I am deeply saddened by her passing although I know she is in the arms of Jesus, I will miss her very much. There are no words to express my great love for her and all she has given to me. I wish for one more conversation. I will see you again soon. Funny story, I was attending a Homecoming at a friends church and when I got out I had 7 missed calls from her, I immediately called her and I thought she had said she had slid down in her chair, I told her I was on my way and I got there fairly quickly I rushed in the door expecting to see her slid down but to my surprise she was up right and smiling me being confused I ask her what was wrong She stated I can't find my tissues. Luckily I didn't get a ticket trying to get to her. But we had a good laugh and visit. Just a day and life with Ms. Barbara

I only met this Beautiful Lady 1 time, with my Cousin, Deborah Minor. She stole my heart! It was such a Blessing to Visit with her. I Pray she meets my Precious Momma. I am praying for the Family she left behind. It's going to be so hard but hold on to one another and Trust in God. It's the hardest thing, losing your Mom, even when u know she's in a Better place.
