Deborah Kay Pounders Owen, 68, North Little Rock, passed away December 10, 2021, from complications of a breakthrough case of COVID.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Johnnie Pounders and infant sister Nita.
Debbie is survived by her son Eric Owen, grandson Peyton Owen, brother James Pounders, sister Janet (Bill) Whitt, nephews James (Erin) Whitt and Nathan (Amy) Whitt, and great nieces/nephew Lilly, Madi, Livi and Griffin Whitt.
Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cabot.
The family thanks the doctors and nurses at Baptist Springhill for their compassion and tireless dedication.

I have been friends with all of the Pounders siblings since our time in high school. I met my wife through James and Janet. Debbie was a good person, and I am saddened to hear of her passing.
