March 22, 1931 - December 9, 2021

Kenneth Eugene Grinwald, 90, of Yellville, Arkansas passed in peace December 9, 2021 at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Ken was born March 22, 1931. He was the eldest son of Matthias and Cecelia Grinwald of Hartland, Wisconsin.

Ken proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. After the war he met and married Joyce A. (Fetzer) Grinwald September 5, 1953.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce also of Yellville, their children: Eugene Grinwald (Wauwatosa, WI), Julie Carlsen (Waukesha, WI), Nancy Sellman (Minneapolis, MN), Janette Jamel (Milwaukee, WI) and Tracy Poje (Mark) (Mukwonago, WI).
Grandchildren: Casey Carlsen, Christopher Carlsen, Stephanie Johnson, Michael Jamel, Jessica Jamel, Elizabeth Poje, Katherine Poje, Victoria Poje and Cole Poje, his siblings Dolores Tiegs, Harold Grinwald and Karen Albrecht.

Mr. Grinwald was predeceased by siblings: Roger Grinwald, Joseph Grinwald, Donald Grinwald and Mary Helbig (Ken).

Ken was a man who loved his family and worked hard all his life. He is remembered
fondly by many, as a man generous with his time, knowledge and one who could be counted on to help at any time. He moved to Arkansas after his retirement, where he became active in a role at the volunteer fire department, the man with ''the'' crane truck and could fix just about anything.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Visitation for Mr. Grinwald will be 9:00 - 10:30 am Saturday December 18, 2021 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Yellville, Arkansas.

A rosary service will be at 10:30 am with memorial mass following at 11:00 am with Fr. Jim Fanrak officiating.

Ken was truly a kind and gentle soul who gave of himself and his time (without hesitation) to everyone he met. There is no one who can hold a candle close to this statement in this neck of the woods. We have known Ken since we moved here 15 years ago and we are sadden by his death, yet blessed to have known him all these years. He was truly an encyclopedia of knowledge. If you needed an answer, you knew he would have it and/or Ken would freely give of his time to help you figure it out. He was a faithful friend to both of us and ours lives are forever changed because of befriending him.
May he rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon him.

My late husband Jim & I sat behind Ken for many years. I will miss his smile and kindness. If there is any "Fixin" to be done in heaven, Ken will be there to help.
