Michael Allen Long, 47, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on December 5, 2021 at his home at 707 Massey Avenue. Michael was born November 19, 1974 to David and Colleen Long in Mountain View, Arkansas. Michael worked at Friendship Community Care. Michael was known by many and loved by all that knew him. He had a Christ like love for others. He was an avid Yellow Jacket fan. He loved fire trucks and John Deere tractors.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Colleen Long and by his sister Cathy Vickers.
Michael is survived by his father, David (Sarge) Long and wife Lavon of Concord, Arkansas; his uncle James R. Long and wife Marge; his aunt Wanda Vannatter and husband R.L.; two nieces, Shontaye Rushton of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Gabrielle Kaser of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas; along with many aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends and co-workers.
Visitation for Michael is Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Thursday, December 9, 2021, 10:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Roy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Shawn Woody, Paul Lee, James Rogers, Larry McOwen, Gavin Pritchett, and Devon Anderson.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
Micheal was my neighbor growing up. Micheal, Cathy, and I rode the same bus all our school years. Micheal and my mom became neighbors again for awhile at RCF. Micheal has been a lifelong friend to my family. His smile and sweet spirit will be missed. Sending condolences and love to the family.
Michael and Sarge stopped by the dealership often and it was always a pleasure to see them both. Michael would always come in with a big smile and talk to everybody just spreading positive energy everywhere! Just a good guy with a huge heart! He will definitely be missed.

Mike and I were school friend, work friends when he mowed grass and neighbors. He always reminded me of God's love and joy. It was an honor to call him my friend and I will miss that smiling face and grand HUGS. Welcome Home, Mike! I'll hug you soon.
Michael was a special friend to everyone at star Friendship community care he really loved his trackers and all his police cars ambulances he really enjoyed playing with all his cars and trucks alot and he will always love eating lots of candy we are going to miss you Michael until the day we will see you in Heaven
