Gary Lee McDonald, 67, passed away December 2, 2021. He was born January 21, 1954, in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville and enjoyed drawing, woodworking, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Junior McDonald and Joyce Jean Earline Fulton, by his birth father Adolf Wigstrom, and by his brother.
He is survived by the mother of his sons, Edna Lucille McDonald, two sons, Jessy McDonald and Jason McDonald, four grandchildren, five sisters, Helen Peterson, Grace Wilson, and Gloria Pratt of Robertsdale, Alabama, Irene Jouliane of Silverhill, Alabama, and Vicki Richardson of Texarkana, Arkansas, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 6, 2022 at First Baptist Church Batesville with Rev. Gene Tulberg officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arkansas Sheriff Youth Ranch, 100 St. Vincent Place, Batesville, AR 72501.
