I was a referee for CD's teams at Conway and Jacksonville. He was a tough old bird, and you'd better be on your game, as he would let you know if you missed something. He made me a better referee and he and I could talk about the game man to man. I had great respect for him and think he did for me. The game needs more like him. He will be missed. RIP CD.
C.D. and I had many good times together coaching at CJHS and CHS. He was truly one of a kind! Prayers to Beth and family.
Dear Family,
Coach Taylor coached me in high school and I learned how to be tough with him. Then when I started coaching Coach Taylor followed my teams and evertime I saw him he would ask about my season. He will be greatly missed.

MEMORIES THAT WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US COACH TAYLOR
Coach Taylor was a major influence in my life as a high school athlete. I was honored to be a Sr in his last year of coaching at Jacksonville High School. He was a tough old bird but he was fair and only wanted the best from his athletes. He taught us discipline and how to see beyond our own abilities and push ourselves to be better. I have many stories about my 3 years playing for Coach Taylor and they are some of my best memories. Thanks Coach for helping mold me into the man I am today. May your family find peace in this time of sorrow.
