Mrs. Helen (Meizis) Windsor, 90, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in Mountain Home. She was born December 11, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Louise (Medalis) Thomas. She was a devout member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church who sang in the choir and participated in the of Legion of Mary among other activites. She was a great cook who never let anyone go hungry.
She is survived by 4 sons: Matthew (Jeanne) Meizis, Mark (Pattie) Meizis, Michael Meizis, and Peter Meizis; 2 stepsons: John (Dea)Windsor and Thomas (Sandi) Windsor; 2 stepdaughters: Dianne Windsor and Maryette (Jim)Wolfe; 2 grandsons: Jeremiah (Heather) and Erik; 4 granddaughters: Emily (Salvador), Nicole, Laura (Ryan), and Marie; 8 step-grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren: Vivienne, William, Harper, Luna, and Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: John Meizis, second husband: John Windsor; son: John Meizis; stepson: Robert Windsor; grandson: Joshua; great-granddaughter Jordyn, and 2 brothers: Donald ''Dan'' and Peter Varekois.
A visitation with Rosary will be held between 6-8:00pm at Roller Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2, 2021. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Saint Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
Helen was so very kind and loving wife to grandpa John Windsor. She loved Christ and her family. She was busy caring for John she also volunteered at the hospital often. Till we meet again in heaven God bless you Grandma Helen
It was my privilege to know Helen through the Eucharistic Adoration group at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Her devotion to Christ was an inspiration to me. I send condolences to all her family and friends.
Aunt Helen, you and my cousins, Matthew, Mark, Michael, and Peter and their families are in my prayers. You were always kind to me and I appreciated it.

I will always remember Helen's sweet smile whenever we saw each other at church or in choir and every Christmas or Birthday card she gave me over the years has always warmed my heart. Offering up my condolences to her family members. She will be greatly missed.
