of Searcy, AR
October 21, 1944 - November 26, 2021
Phyllis Harris, 77, gained her wings on November 26, 2021 after battling lung disease and several other illnesses for some time. She passed away in her hometown of Searcy, Arkansas at Unity Health Hospital. Phyllis was born in Searcy, AR to the late W.L. and Juanita Mildred Maddock Wilson on October 21, 1944.
Phyllis worked at the Searcy Walmart for 18 years in the jewelry department until she retired. Phyllis had a love for decorating and cooking. Phyllis had a very soft heart when it came to animals and no matter how many times she claimed no more animals, a cat or dog always ended up in her home. Phyllis had a strong love for family and friends, whom she loved very much. During the years of Erika and Jasmine growing up she claimed their friends as her own children or grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Erika, stepdaughters Jessica Harris, Rose Sipes, Tera Brown, stepson Todd Price, and granddaughter Jasmine Rainey, and many cousins, step- grandchildren, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Harris.
Family and friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Phyllis at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, AR on December 3rd from 6 to 7 p.m. The funeral and graveside will be December 4, 2021 at 11:00.

Mrs. Phyllis and I worked together at Walmart in the jewlery dept
She was more than just a co worker. We became friends during the times we were able to work together. I loved our stories and she was a strong willed and caring lady. I will miss her dearly. Prayers for her family and Walmart Co workers.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I LOVED working with Ms Phyllis and eating lunch with her in the breakroom. She was such a sweet lady.
My Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family! May God comfort you during this time of loss.
You and family are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank about all the good times you had with mother.
