Edward Ward, 81, of Enola, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Conway, Arkansas. Mr. Ward was born on Saturday, December 16, 1939 to the late Welton Ward and Adavene Hughes Ward in Bee Branch, Arkansas.
Edward was of the Baptist faith and served six years in the United States Army. He worked for Pat Salmon and Sons Trucking for over twenty years. Mr. Ward was a proud member of the Heber Springs chapter of the American Legion. He loved hunting, riding horses, running dogs, deer camp, spending time with friends and family, and loved water skiing.
Left to cherish his memory are; one son, Travis Ward of Greenbrier, Arkansas; two daughters, Theresa Beck (Peter) of Vilonia, Arkansas, Tanya Cox (Jesse) of Enola, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Lou Neighbors of Conway, Arkansas, Joyce Cagle of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, Linda Rowlett of Gold Creek, Arkansas, Carolyn Lasley (Stephen) of Conway, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Glenna Ward and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Christine Ward; brother, Sherril Ward; two sons, Tim Ward, Terry Ward, and granddaughter, Jessica Ballard.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ward will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church in Saltillo, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery. Brother Robin Covington will officiate.
