So glad I had the opportunity to know Farris Roper he could always make me smile or laugh. He came to our church Union Assembly of God till their health made it difficult to leave home but we all still kept in contact. He would shake my hand a say how are you doing cousin. My dads mom was cousins to the Rollans n Deeds. But more than that we were Christian friends n he is with the Lord he served n loved. My prayers are with Delcia n all the kids n grandchildren. May God comfort you in this time of loss he isn't suffering or in pain he is Praising the Lord with Danny Bro n Sister King n many saints gone on. Someday soon we as believers can go to see him. Ask Jesus into your heart n you can rejoice with him. Love always!!

So sorry for your loss. Farris was a hard working man. My brothers and I have hauled many a bale of hay for him. I was fascinated when we would get to go to the milk barn and get fresh cow's milk and watch how they milked all those cows.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Roper family. We were so lucky to be included in popcorn night and ice cream with the family while visiting in July. Farris was a lovely man and truly loved his family. That was very, very evident.

Laurel has "one more thing to tell you", as do we; we will miss you dearly but cherish our time with you. Rest now, Farris, for you are with the Lord.
