Mary Elisabeth (McIlroy) Blue, 88, of Batesville, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021.
She was born January 3, 1933 in Mountain View, Arkansas to James Edward McIlroy and Susan Katherine (Misenheimer) McIlroy.
Mary was of the Christian faith and loved her family very much. In her earlier years Mary worked for White Rodgers; she was part owner of Blue's Body Shop with her husband; she was also a wonderful home maker.
Survivors include her son, Vaughn Ramon Blue, Jr. (Shirley) of Spokane, Washington; a granddaughter, Beth Guest (Brad) of Spokane, Washington; two great-grandchildren, Nia Guest and Noah Guest also of Spokane; three brothers, Jarrel McIlroy, Leman McIlroy, and Autrey McIlroy all of Flint, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vaughn Ramon Blue, Sr.; one sister, Jewell; five brothers, Kirby McIlroy, Curtis McIlroy, Carlis McIlroy, Calvin McIlroy, and Carnie McIlroy; as well as two infant brothers, Coleman and Lawrence.
A private burial will be held for the family at Oaklawn Cemetery.

I was saddened to read of Mary's passing. She was a very nice lady.
When I was young, she babysat for me and my 2 brothers.
Mary is remembered fondly by all that knew her and will be missed until we meet again over the River Jordan.
It's my prayer that Vaughn and the extended family peace in our Lord during this time of sorrow.
