Gail and Megan, Our hearts are heavy that our dear friend, neighbor, and co-worker has passed away. From sharing babysitters to retiring with Darrell in 2013, our lives were intertwined in so many ways and were richer for knowing him. We thank God for our last short visit at Harp's just a few months ago. Darrell will forever have a place in the hearts of our family, and you, Megan and the grandchildren are in our thoughts and prayers now and in the weeks and months ahead. Love and prayers🙏🏼❤🙏🏼

Days go slow and years go fast. It seems like yesterday Darrell was teaching me how to use a catcher’s mitt in Uncle Leon and Aunt Duell’s front yard. I should have thanked him…I could have made time to visit. All my “should haves and could haves” are worthless. So having said that, I respected him and he was a good man in my eyes.
