So very sad for you Robin and all of her many friends who loved her.
So proud that I was one of her girls for 6 years, through Jr and Sr high and beyond.
Learned so much from her about life and friendship. Mostly loved all the fun and laughter when we were together.
She will be missed but always remembered fondly!
Prayers.

I will never forget the pride in being a part of the BHS Pepsteppers, and hearing her voice over the loud speaker at C.W. Lewis stadium after the half-time performance. She cared for us and didn't mind at all telling us what she thought! A special moment was when several of us visited in her home one evening and she told me to play the organ and she hopped on the piano. I was surprised at experiencing this side of her. Husband" Wink" was all smiles. Betty was sure to let us know she had one son, Robin. May the memories of all her efforts comfort you!

Mrs. Berry was a complete legend. The type of person characters in movies are modeled after. She was commanding, competent, in-charge and oh what a leader she was! Her back was straight and her posture tall and when she clapped her hands to get your attention, you better believe you and anyone within that sound stopped dead in their tracks. She was a mystery but also completely clear about who she was and what she stood for. I was shaped by that woman and blessed by the influence she had in my life and I will never, ever, ever forgot her. I loved you Mrs. Berry.

My family knew Mrs B for years.... mostly from my dad and Mr Wink bowling at McCrays.
I was a band kid, not a pep stepper in those 1970-72 high school years but still had a good relationship...great to see Robin and Mrs B at a multi-class reunion a few years ago.
All of us as students, faculty and future teachers are fortunate have bee touched by her friendship.
