John W. Nabors, died on November 16, 2021, at the age of 87. He was born on August 19, 1934, in Pulaski County.

He attended Catholic High in Little Rock and graduated from the University of Arkansas. John was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a retired state employee with the Employment Security Division and was a member of the Little Rock Running Club. He loved his dogs, Chloe and Ava.

He is preceded in death by two brothers and canine companion, Chloe.

John is survived by his wife, Jean Nabors; sister, Carolyn Courtney of Springfield, Missouri; one nephew and three nieces.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M, Monday, November 22, 2021, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Holderfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle.

Jean, I am so sorry for your loss. John was my favorite running buddy. He and my sister and I ran many miles together training for the Pike’s Peak Marathon. He was one of the nicest people and I was always happy to see him and considered him a good friend.
