Barbara Ann Battles age 84 of West Memphis, Arkansas. She was born on August 24, 1937 and passed on November 10, 2021. She suffered a debilitating stroke in December of 2018 and never recovered. But she fought her best fight. She was very pleasant right to the bitter end.

She loved all animals and her family. She enjoyed the simple things in life. She had a very dear friend in Lois Carter that was beside her thru thick and thin till the end. She owned twenty-seven houses in the immediate West Memphis area and was proud to say this. She had a very supportive husband who loved her very much and left her in charge of the family. She never lost memory of her family and loved ones till the very end.

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Charlette Houlihan and her husband Carl Battles and her youngest son Robert Wesley McKinney. She is survived by her oldest son Douglas Gregory McKinney and her two sisters, Jackie Hicks and Libby Scott Click.

Visitation for Barbara will take on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. then services will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion starting at 2:00 P.M.
