Bettye Sue Talley, 85, of Clarksville, died Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born August 3, 1936, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Arthur Curtis and Marjie Ester Shepherd Armer. Bettye was devoted to her family and loved to read biographies, memoirs, and other historical works.
She is survived by one daughter, Terri L. Boen and husband Jamie; one son, Kenneth Talley and wife Robin; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Talley; two granddaughters, Krista Shoptaw and husband Dustin and Kesley Freeman and husband Blake; four grandsons, Kolby Talley, Jacob Boen and wife Kesha, Luke Boen and wife Allyson, and Zachary Yarbrough; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Bettye is preceded in death by her husband William Douglas Talley and her daughter Karen Yarbrough.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Services will be private.

So sorry to hear about Bettye. She was the life of Vine Street back in the days. I can still see her at the front door yelling, "Kenny come on home now for supper". She was a great neighbor and friend.
