Charlene Adkins, age 88, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born December 20, 1932, in Pittsboro, Mississippi, to Gordon and Irene (Tacker) James. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Bill; her sister, Lillian; and her brother, Franklin.

Charlene enjoyed making cards, crocheting, gardening, canning goods, and attending church at The Grove Bible Church. She loved her family with all of her heart and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Charlene is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Michael Lemons of Bentonville and Charita and Michael Brashers of Harrison; her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Kendra Adkins, of Everton; her sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Garner of Montana and Jane Bullock of Georgia; six grandchildren, Danelle Lemons, Shawn Lemons, Kerri Saldana, Molly Brashers, Sarah Brashers, and Chasity Little; ten great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.


The visitation was Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

The funeral service was Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Jackson officiating.

Interment was private.

Memorials may be made to The Grove Bible Church in Western Grove, Arkansas.
