Haven't seen Marvin since we graduated in 1965. We lost contact with each other when I moved to Marion. He and I along with several other students were close friends in the Osceola School District, I guess from the 1st to our senior year in high school. My prayers go out to all his family members and to all the school mates who remember him.

So sad to hear about Marvin. I have so many memories of us as teenagers, like starting our own band and practicing in one of J.N.'s rental houses in "Old Town" in the middle of winter. We played up until he was drafted into the army. Marvin was my first best friend when I came to Arkansas. I don't think we ever had a disagreement or cross words. So rest easy my friend and fellow veteran May God bless his family, he will be missed.

So very sorry about Marvin's death, Sheila. I used to see him at McDonald's on Saturday mornings before the pandemic. You were both interested in the Historical Museum and Marvin and his band were favorite entertainment. He was such a fine man and good musician. You and your family are in my prayers.
