Rudell "Rudy" Pannell, 83, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away peacefully October 30, 2021. He was born to parents Elza D. Pannell and Wilma Jones Panell in Pyatt, Arkansas on March 28, 1938.
Rudy married his wife Anna Joyce Crownover Pannell on December 22, 1961. They were happily married for almost 60 years.
Rudy proudly served his country in the Army Reserve early in life. He then went on to work in the banking industry. Rudy worked at People's Bank in Mountain Home for 27 years where he became the senior vice president. He then opened Family Manufactured Homes with his wife, Anna Joyce, and ran it for 16 years. Rudy retired in Mountain Home and spent his free time watching his grandson play baseball. He also loved to travel with family, work on the farm, and raise cattle.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Anna Joyce Pannell; daughter Lori (Phillip) Poston of Fort Smith, AR; grandchild Cameron Poston; sister Mary Jean Pannell; and numerous friends and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation for Rudy Pannell will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Roller Funeral Home with interment to follow.

Anna Joyce, Lorie and all of family and friends, I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Rudy. He was a very special person in my life. As a child I spent so many Sunday afternoons at your house and will always cherish those memories, of the years spent at Whiteville Baptist Church. I enjoyed seeing you again at Bar non Cowboy church and visiting with you both.
