Jessie Jean Guillen

of Cotter, AR

July 23, 1981 - October 14, 2021

Jessie Jean Guillen (Santa Ynez Chumash tribe), age 40, was born on July 23, 1981, and went to join Creator on October 14, 2021.

Jessie had a passion for helping others, and loved spending time with her family first and foremost. In her free time, she volunteered at Have A Heart pet shelter, loved going on adventures, and making memories with her loved ones.

Jessie would go out of her way to put a smile on someone's face and make them feel loved, even if it was a stranger. She was a very strong, passionate woman who never let anything life threw at her get her down. She was a fighter, and will always be remembered a warrior.

Jessie is survived by her parents, Gayle Pangle (Kevin) and Steve Guillen (Rebecca); her sisters Stephanie Guillen and Mariah Pangle; her sons Danny Ply and Sebastian Plaisance; her daughter Autumn Guillen; her nephew Duncan Stromquist; and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers; Benny Guillen, Victor Evans, David Stocking and Bill Pangle; grandmothers Jennie Guillen and Nancy Pangle; uncles Nicky, Mike, Art, and Bob; aunt Judy; cousin Anthony; and her beloved son Adrian Michael Plaisance.

Arrangements by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas are private.

I was so broken to hear about Jessie's passing. I worked with her and I actually trained her when she first came to the resort. In the beginning, we worked a lot together. A very good worker. Enjoyed her company. She always strife to stay on the positive side. Sure miss the texts she would send: Hello Beautiful, Good morning Beautiful...Miss you a lot Jessie. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family. Very sorry for your loss...

I will miss our full moon nights. I will always think of you, when I gaze at the moon. You will always live in the hearts of those, who have been fortunate, to love you.

Jessie has been my family most of my life. We shared many memories that I will now carry forward alone, but she will never be forgotten.

She was much loved and will be much missed. It is difficult to figure out where to go from here, with her gone from our lives. But we are all connected, always, so I know she is not truly gone.

Jessie was such a beautiful sweet person. I knew Jessie from high school and I remember the first time I ever spoke to her wasn't at school but at her house shortly after she had Danny. You could see the love in her eyes she had for not only Danny but all of her friends old and new. That night I knew I had a new friend who was true to herself and others. We drifted apart as time went on because life was happening but I could always guarantee that if I saw Jessie in town she would have a smile on her face and a kind word to say. Jessie will definitely be missed.
