Mary Arlene (Smith) Bartlett, 93 of Coal Hill, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 in Coal Hill with her loved ones by her side. She was born April 10, 1928 in Franklin County, Ozark Rural, AR to Claude and Toiley (Hill) Smith. Mary was a faithful member of Coal Hill Assembly of God Church, where she was a song leader, and Sunday School teacher. She retired from Hanford Processing Plant, then worked at the University of Ozarks. She enjoyed caring for her elderly friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, late husband of 71 years, R.D. Bartlett, Jr., seven brothers, and two sisters.
Mrs. Bartlett leaves behind one son, Gerald Bartlett (Kathy) of Coal Hill; three daughters, Twyla Brasel (Charles) of Coal Hill; Sheila Smith of Highfill; Karen Houston (Don) of Clarksville; one brother, Roy Smith of Ozark; two sisters, Lillie Carter of Spiro, OK and Lola Faye Edwards of Rudy, AR.; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Coal Hill Assembly of God with the funeral service following at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. John Kindrix and Bro. Gerald Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Hess Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Zolliecoffer, Bobby Zolliecoffer, Cecil Zolliecoffer, Chandlor Sears, Jeremy Boen, Frankie Sears, Daniel Houston, and Ashley Birkhahn.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home 220 John Babish Lane Russellville, AR. 72801
