Walter Gregory Conley

of Little Rock, AR

January 15, 1965 - October 10, 2021

Walter Gregory Conley, 56, of Little Rock, passed away on October 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Morris Conley, and is survived by his mother, Helen Sue Shaw-Conley, half-sister, Glenda Conley Eckert, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Greg was born January 15, 1965 at Porter Rodgers Hospital in Searcy, AR. Greg loved his many friends, duck hunting, his hunting dogs--most especially Deuce, was an avid outdoorsman, loved floating the beautiful Arkansas lakes and rivers, the Razorbacks, and the Chicago Cubs. If you met him in-person it was not long before you were his 'brother' or 'sister', and he meant it and never met a stranger. He was sincerely appreciative for the love and support he received.

Private services will be held at Woodman Cemetery in McCrory at a future date.

It just doesn’t seem possible that your gone! When I think of my hometown (LR), you pop up as a staple here, a voice I will miss, a friendship that can’t be replaced, a big heart ❤️ that many knew and I was fortunate to know many layers to you! It’s always sad for the ones left behind but you are in heaven with our beautiful Heavenly Father, out of pain! RIP Conley!

Love ya, brother. No more pain for you to have to suffer through, which makes me smile. Watch over us. I know you were at the Dave Matthew’s concert this week as I could feel you there, brother. Sad that our last text was planning our next concert together. I appreciate our friendship. Rest In Peace. Love and Blessings🙏🏼

Greg was just a special, special guy. Charming, sweet, with that that boyish grin, he will be greatly missed. He was one of kind. May he rest in peace with Duce by his side. Much love to his mother, family and friends.

I was one of his “baby sisters”. We had been friends for over 30 years and I can’t imagine not ever hearing his voice or his amazing laugh again. He was one of the few people who I can say truly never judged you and not only accepted you for who you were, but embraced you for it. He lived life full out and I don’t think I have a single Conley story (and I have MANY) that doesn’t make me laugh out loud. I love you and will miss you forever big brother.
