June was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in West Memphis and later St. Michael's Catholic Church in West Memphis.
Per June's wishes, there will be no funeral or public memorial service. She wanted "no ado or fuss", in her own words. Her sincere desire was for anybody who wanted to pay their respects and celebrate her life to do so by visiting her final resting place at their convenience and at their own pace after she is laid to rest at Crittenden Memorial Park.
It was a pleasure getting to know Mrs June when I worked at Broadway! She was such a light to be around! My condolences to the family.

Where do I start to describe June (mom). I first met June in 1974, the year sissy (June’s) adopted daughter and I were married. I knew she was special from day 1 didn’t know how super special until time went on.what a grand lady and special gal was June.she was the go to person to get things done.she was one of the most interesting people I ever had the pleasure I know. She was classy, highly intelligent, organized and a true friend. God gave her a long life but now we must say good bye until we gather again in god’s eternal home. My love and prayers to June’s family. Peace

So sorry she was a fine person. Lynn and Kaye Stanfield.
Ms. June excelled at everything she did. She sang, could fly a plane, won Mrs. Arkansas pageant, led in organizations and more. And she raised three fine men. She was admired by everyone in my family. I've known her since she drove me in kindergarten carpool decades ago. She was West Memphis royalty. Much love to her family.
June was so active in many organizations in West Memphis. She was the constitution guru for WM Jr. auxiliary! St. Michael’s will miss her!
