Oleta Elma Zinn Sutterfield, age 91 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life into her eternal home on Friday, October 8th, 2021 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born in Fifty Six, Arkansas on January 25th, 1930 to William Andrew Zinn and Dessie Edith Sutterfield Zinn.

Oleta was primarily a homemaker, but enjoyed working for the Forest Service as a hired hand and working at Cody's restaurant. The moment you met Oleta you had a friend for life. She was a sweet spirit that loved with her whole heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church at Fifty Six Missionary Baptist, cooking large meals for all to enjoy, quilting and being outdoors. Oleta's legacy will live on in the hearts of all of those who love her and await their sweet heavenly reunion one day.

Survivors include her son, Junior Sutterfield and wife Carla of Marshall; granddaughter, Elizabeth Harris and husband Chris of Greenbrier; great-granddaughters, Cami and Abby Harris; sisters, Nova and Gladys Balentine of Fifty Six; and a host of nieces, nephews and many, many children whom she babysat and loved in the Fifty Six community.

Oleta is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dessie Zinn; her husband of 45 years, Coy "Jinx" Sutterfield; and her sisters, Olena Miller, Venita Alexander and Wanda Reece.

Funeral services for Oleta will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 11th, 2021 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Darrell Gosser and Bro. Junior Cole officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 till 1:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Spoonflat Cemetery in the Fifty Six community of Stone County, Arkansas. Bearers will be Chris "Scooter" Harris, L.J. Treat, Tracy Carraway, Blake Phillips, Kenny Phillips and Drew Horton. Honorary bearers will be Mike Crow, Phil Pulis and Andrew Phillips.

This little lady was as perfect as anyone could be. I was honored to care for Ms Oleta from day one. A beautiful smile and a warm heart is the memory I’ll always cherish. She called me her Angel but in reality she was mine🥰 thank you, Ms Oleta, for the years of beautiful memories.
