Helen Taylor Walls passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Searcy, Arkansas with her children by her side. Helen was born on Sunday, February 10, 1935 in Butlerville, Lonoke County, Arkansas, the youngest child of James Henry Taylor and Ora Nettie (Proctor) Taylor. At age fifty-five her father delivered her into this world.
She was a very strong woman and a survivor. She lived through being run over by a dual wheel truck as a small child, as well as the tornado that destroyed Judsonia in 1952. She lived twenty-one years after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2000.
She married Wayne G. Walls on May 23, 1953 in Searcy, AR. They were the parents of two children, Kathy Walls Hayes (Jimmy) of Searcy, AR and Kevin Walls of Duluth, GA.
She loved to travel and visited forty-seven states, twenty-seven countries, and five continents. She especially loved camping with her grandchildren at Greers Ferry Lake and spent many summers there.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Walls of Searcy, AR, son Kevin Walls of Duluth, GA, daughter Kathy Walls Hayes (Jimmy) of Searcy, AR, granddaughter Brooke Hayes Condolora (David) of Rogers, AR, grandson Clay Hayes (Allyson) of Pleasant Plains, AR, great-grandson Haylan Walls Stallins of Bethlehem, GA, great-granddaughter Willow Grace Hayes of Pleasant Plains, AR, sister Iva Aileen Williams of Searcy, AR, and brother James Earl Taylor (Wilma) of Knoxville, AR.
She is preceded in death by her sisters Edith Fern Taylor, Ida Mae Taylor and Beatrice Henry Coursey, brothers William Lawrence Taylor, Louis Lee Taylor, Lowell Henry Cook and Leon Wesley Cook, grandson Jeremy Taylor Walls, and great-grandson Lane Wiley Hayes.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM, October 11, 2021 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, with Service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Taylor Cemetery in Searcy.

Helen has been my best friend since 1945. We graduated in 1953. I spent many nights at her house in 1952 and 1953 during basketball season. I loved all her family. Good Bye dear FRIEND. My prayers are for the family.
Helen was a kind,sweet woman. She was always friendly and glad to see me. I will remember her forever. Prayers to u Kathy,Kevin and all her family.
