We extend our condolences to the family of an obviously exceptional lady. We are relatively new to the area and didn't have the opportunity to meet her in person, but we feel as if we knew her (and her fried pies!) by reputation. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to all the family of Abitha Southard Dye!
Bitha came to work with me at Norfork City Hall Water Department many years ago. She brought laughter in the door everyday she came through it to work. She was soon a friend.
I pray the presence of the Lord will be felt by all the family and many friends at this time and months ahead!
God bless,

I first knew Abitha many years ago when she and Clyde used to come to the bank in Calico Rock.
I would see her from time to time in later years after I retired and she was always so friendly.
She was such a nice lady and I know you will miss her. She was so close to making it to 100.

Aunt Abitha :
You are going to be so missed. Loved learning how to make fried pies, biscuits, and your famous cobblers. Laughing with you as I learned how. You said you were going to make a cook out of me. Love you, Debbie
