Brenda L. Gilbert, 75, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on October 4, 2021 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Brenda was born on April 24, 1946 in Timbo, Arkansas to the late Clifford and Verna (Gammill) Schultz. Brenda enjoyed playing bingo, doing word searches, but really cherished time with family especially her grandbabies. Brenda will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her children, Brian Gilbert of Dover, Arkansas, Lora Marcum of Springdale, Arkansas, and Deanna Stahl of Eastampton, New Jersey; two sisters, Marie Schultz of Mountain View, Arkansas and Violet Koons of Caraway, Arkansas; grandbabies, Nolan Gammill, Danica Marcum, Bethany Marcum, Brandon Stahl, Damien Stahl, and Kris Smith; one great-grandbaby, Remi Smith, along with many extended family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Verna (Gammill) Schultz; husband, Nolan Gilbert; sisters, Rita Schultz and Virginia McClanahan, and one brother, Paul Schultz.
A memorial service for Brenda will take place on Friday, October 8, 2021, 2:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Junior Barham officiating.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

We have several generations of not just being friends but loving each other as family. When you lose your Mom you lose one of God's most precious gifts. My thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and staff also at the nursing home. Brenda was my grandmas best friend and I really enjoyed spending time with her, especially miss talking to her about our favorite shows mountain men, life below zero and Alaska the last frontier. She definitely brought joy to the world and she will live on in our memories.

Brenda was a class mate in Timbo school and a great friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Praying God will give them strength and comfort to get them through for Brenda path to heaven.

Ms. Brenda had been my girl for the 6 years I've been working at the nursing home. She loved to help me with Bingo, was so sweet and gave the best hugs. I'm really going to miss her, but I know I will see her again someday.
