Wanda Marie Jennings, age 61 of Marshall, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Doniphan, Missouri on January 15th, 1960 to Sylvan Edmond Wood and Evelyn Lee McCage Wood.

Wanda loved church, family and her friends. No matter how much time she got to spend with family she always wanted more. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her loving and caring spirit will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph A. Jennings, who she married on January 18th, 1994; her children, Rose Pierce (Darrell) of Morrilton, Krista Guess of Dover, Charles Scharbor of Conway, Alisha Monard of Salem, Ricky Eric Barney of Oppelo, Tasha Rene' Barney of Russellville and Wayne Scharbor; six grandkids; one brother, Jimmy Wood of Houston; sister, Mary Bognar of Kissimmee, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvan and Evelyn Wood; and siblings, Billy Wayne Wood, Bonnie Marcrum, Edna Mae Eddy and Peggy Higgins.

Private burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. A memorial service honoring Wanda's life will be held in January around her birthday. Announcements will be made later.

Momma Wanda, I didn’t even know this happened until now. It’s been 8 years since I’ve seen or heard anything from you. Not a day went by that I didn’t think about you. You was there for me for a lot including the day I found out I was pregnant with Devin. I wish you could have met him. I miss and love you so very much. Rest in peace queen.
