Hendrix Family,

i am so sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Kathy and I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Growing up in Merrivale I feel I have known her and the Hendrix family all my life. Michael & Randy I know it is going to be so hard without her but think of her back with your Dad and how happy they are.

Ms. Kathy was a dear friend of my Mom, Julia Hopkins. My mom passed away October of 2020. Mom always enjoyed visiting with Ms. Kathy whether on the phone or when they would run into each other. We lived around the corner from the Hendrix when I was growing up in the early 70 in Merrivale. My thoughts and prayer are with her family during this difficult time.

Randy, even though your mom was not our ‘Memaw’, we have always thought of her that way. She was part of our family fish fry’s and Christmas’s as well as other get togethers. We loved her and will miss her.

Love, David and Kathleen
