Troy Maples, 82 of Braford, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly father September 29, 2021. He was born April 28, 1939 to Charlie and Ruby Maples at Des Arc, Arkansas.

Troy is preceded in death by his wife Frances Vernelle Maples; his parents Charlie and Ruby Maples and five brothers, Robert, Monroe, Billy, Glendell and C.W. Maples.

He is survived by his son James Coy Maples of Hot Springs and daughter Susan Maples Martin of Greenbrier; eight grandchildren, Adam Cockrell of Cabot, Bruce Maples of Spain, Bryan Maples of Hot Springs, Amber Cockrell of Cabot, Jennifer Maples of Hot Springs, Rocky Martin of Greenbrier, Lucas Martin of Greenbrier, and Sam Martin of Greenbrier; one sister Evelyn Lackie of Jacksonville, Arkansas; one brother Ray Maples of Austin, Arkansas; eleven great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas with the funeral to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas. All arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy.
