The 1st time I ever melted a pair of sneakers sitting around a bon fire was next to you.. 1st thing you said was "I told you they would melt but you didn't listen " then you gave me your jacket and told me to scoot back from the fire before I caught my breeches on fire.. you will be missed so much Jason. Tell my uncle Ricky hello for me my old friend

Jason was my cousin. He was larger than life. The song "Go Rest on That Mountain" could have been written just for Jason. That's just my opinion of course. Every time I hear it I will think of him. To his siblings, you chose a great picture of him. That is how I want to remember him with that smile on his face. He inherited that feature from his Dad. Never saw Uncle Lawrence without a grin. I know you guys probably have everything under control but I am just a phone call away. My sincere sympathy to all of you.
