Carolyn Jean Exum, 79, of Searcy, AR passed away Friday, September 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Exum, her parents, John and Cora Frances Allen and five siblings, Carl Allen, Evelyn King, Lavens Allen, Charles Allen and Ivan Allen. Carolyn is survived by her three children, George (Linda) Exum, Lee Anne (Craig) Russell, John (Andrea) Exum; four grandchildren, Rebekah (Benjamin) Liddle, Caleb Russell, Joshua Exum and Jacob Exum; one great grandchild, Gwendolyn Liddle and one sister, Sara Jo Lawson.
Carolyn retired as a receptionist from Searcy Medical Center. She was a faithful Christian and long-time member of College Church of Christ and was currently attending the Living Way Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark movies, traveling with family and spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchild.
Visitation is at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home on Thursday, September 30 from 5:00 -7:00 PM. The funeral will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 1 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.

To all the family, I am so sorry for your loss! Carolyn was a hard and conscientious worker who lived out her faith daily. She loved her family dearly and was loved by everyone who knew her. It was my blessing to have known her!

I worked with Carolyn for many years. She was a wonderful and beautiful lady both inside and out. Carolyn always had a smile on her face and was laughing. Prayers for your families.
