Mabble Lea Roberts passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Little Rock, AR. She was born in Jacksonville, AR, April 22, 1938 to Liburn and Mary Redmond Elliott. Mabble Lea is survived by her children, Timmy Roberts, Tony Roberts and Penny Roberts. She also leaves behind a grandchild, Alex Roberts; brothers, Pete, Johnny, and Robert Elliott; special nephews, Mike, Dalton, Willie Elliott and other nieces and nephews. Mabble Lea was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Robert Roberts; sisters, Omagene Elliott and Mary Teal; and brothers Billy and Junior Elliott.
Mabble Lea was a lady of many talents. She enjoyed sewing and took pleasure in making clothes for family and friends. Working on cars was another one of her interests. Being outside was special to her and she loved having the neighborhood kids play in her yard. Since 1976, Mabble Lea operated a fireworks stand to celebrate July 4th.
Visitation for Mabble Lea will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 29 at Roller Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Rd, Benton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30 at Tent Builders Church, 1214 Liberty, Benton. Interment will follow in Cato Historic Cemetery, 14000 Frenchman Mountain, Sherwood, AR.
