Earl Leon Bartsch, 80, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 in Bartlesville. He was born on September 27, 1940 in Paris to his parents Earl Theodore and Foy (Hammond) Bartsch.
Earl was a United States Army Veteran and a retired teacher. He loved camping, hiking and photography.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Bartsch.
He is survived his nieces, Lisa Bartsch of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Kelly Parker of Biloxi, Mississippi
Burial of cremated remains will be private at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Hello,
Mr. Bartsch was my photography teacher. This news brings me great sadness. My Teacher, my Friend has gone to Heaven to rest. All of my memories with Bartschy is what we called him were the Best. Bartschy took myself, my Big brother Rudy and classmates on many trips. These trips were all adventures of a lifetime never to be forgotten. Our teacher in those days helping to put together in detail the school year book were long hours of work to be proud of. Bartschy always took us out for a meal for helping with the yearbook which were always so much fun and full of laughter. Bartschy will never die in my Heart and Soul. Go Bless the Bartsch family in this time of grief that you may get through this tough time. Please reach out if any family members need anything.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I had tried calling him for his birthday and he didn’t answer. Mr Bartsch (Bartchy) is what we called him as we became adults. I was one of his many photo students at South Gate Jr. High 1982-84). He would take us camping and fed us after we worked on our school yearbook. May god bless him for all of his kindness and wisdom he shared with us. I kept in touch with him over the years and he was never forgotten.
