Douglas F. Kraatz, 97, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home. Douglas was born on August 23, 1924 in Town of Cambria, New York to the late Frederick and Helen Rose (Weigand) Kraatz. Douglas was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his county in both World War II and the Korean War. Douglas will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Douglas is survived by three sons, Douglas F. Kraatz II, Raymond F. Kraatz, and Steven R. Kraatz; one daughter, JoAnn Kraatz Broadway; one brother, David Kraatz, and one sister, Helen Rabozzi; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen Rose (Weigand) Kraatz and his wife, Myrtle J. Kraatz.
Service will be at Saint Mary's Church in Mountain View on October 18, 2021 at 10AM
