Bruce Dewayne Wallace passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 21, 2021 at the age of 49. Born on October 29, 1971 in Irving, Texas to his loving parents, Jimmy and Shirley Wallace, Bruce had a generous and loving heart which he opened fully to his partner, family, friends, and every animal he encountered. A creative artist, Bruce served as the senior art director at Stone Ward in Little Rock, where he devoted himself to a beloved work family.
Bruce is survived by his partner, Matthew Wells, of Little Rock, as well as his mother, Shirley Wallace, twin brother, Allyn Wallace (Melissa), and younger brother, Cameron Wallace (Jenny), all of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his wonderfully large circle of close friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Wallace, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wallace, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Junnier Jackson.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas; funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Bruce will be interred in the Trinity Cathedral garth.
To honor Bruce's love for furry friends, CARE: Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals has established the Bruce Wallace fund. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to this special cause. Go to Careforanimals.org, and please mention Bruce Wallace in the ''add a note'' section.
