Patricia Jane Jones, 77, of West Memphis, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2021.
She was a member of West Memphis First Assembly of God Church, where she served in many roles over the years, including Women's Ministries, Missionettes (girls' ministries), Greeter, and as a Deacon's Wife. She is known and loved by many children and parents as ''Mrs. Pat'' from her years of having an in-home daycare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lela Childress. Among those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 58 years, Jimmy Dale Jones, her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Bill Harness of Marion, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Heather Harness of Cabot, Arkansas; her sister, Margie Wilkinson of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; her brother, John Childress (JoAnn) of Bossier City, Louisiana; and her 2 sisters-in-law, Sue Malloy of Canalou, Missouri and Eva Jones of Sikeston, Missouri. She also leaves generations of nieces and nephews, including Sandra Scott (Daniel), Paula Shoemake (Scott), Chris Childress (Angela), Sheila Goergen (Gregory), Richard Sanders, Jr. (Jessica) and Van Malloy (Charla).
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt - and she will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home 201 N Pine Street, West Memphis, Arkansas, on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with funeral service immediately following.

My heart aches today, Mrs Pat was one of the purest souls on earth and a true woman of God. Brother Dale and Mrs Pat were the only people we ever used as daycare because they cared about each and every child. Brother Dale,on behalf of myself, Ryan and his mom, I'm so sorry for your loss but know that you and Mrs Pat will always be loved.

Bro Dale, Becky, Bill and Heather, you all are in my thoughts and prayers . Lynn and I loved Sis Pat and although we didn't see her and Bro Dale much this past year due to the pandemic we are so blessed to have known her. Heaven just keeps getting sweeter.
