of Wickes, AR
June 27, 1958 - September 19, 2021
Maria Sandra Hernandez, 63, left us for her forever home in heaven on September 19, 2021, with her children at her bedside at Baptist Health in Conway. Born June 27, 1958 in Tacambaro, Michoacán (Mexico), the second oldest of eight children, she is preceded by her parents Alfonso and Amparo Servin of Mexico and her brother Roberto Vasquez.
She leaves her children, Sandra Trinidad (Antonio) of Wickes, Karla Braswell (Troy) of Conway, Mario Hernandez, Jr., (Michell) of Bossier City, La., her seven grandchildren and her best friend Esther Figueroa.
Besides her children, Maria is survived by her siblings Hugo Servin, Saul Servin, Alfonso Servin, Uriel Servin, Armando Servin, Zoila Servin, Martha Madrigal, and 21 nieces and nephews who all reside in Mexico. She was a great role model to her younger siblings. As a child, she excelled in school and sports.
Maria moved to the United States in 1985 to provide a better life and opportunity for her children, for which they are forever grateful. Maria was a strong and hard-working woman who enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family and friends. She was full of life, enjoyed Mexican music, dancing, and was an amazing cook. She loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious Mexican meals for her family and made the best homemade salsas. Maria traveled back to Mexico often to visit her family. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work and determination that will be passed down to her family for generations.
Her family grieves her sudden loss but take comfort knowing she is no longer suffering. Her services will be private for immediate family members only.
I miss you so much, madre mia! Me haces mucha falta.
Love you mucho!
