Stoney Lee Gillett, 57, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Paris. He was born on November 7, 1963 in Atlantic, Iowa to his parents, Russell Gillett and Darlene (Joyner) Odom.
He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Gillett and one sister, Tisha Pettigrew.
He is survived by one daughter, Allison Gillett of Stuart, Florida; one son, Daniel Gillett and wife Jessica of Hobe Sound, Florida; his mother, Darlene Odom of Paris; one sister, Julie Gillett Rampley and husband Ronnie of Jasper, Georgia; one brother, Larry Brown and wife Brandy of Paris; his uncle and aunt, Denny and Kathie Gillett of Malvern, Iowa and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jace and Jonathan Gillett.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
All of us feel as if our family has lost more that a friend but we lost a family member. We send our deepest condolences to his mom Darlene and their family. We considered ourselves so very LUCKY to have met STONEY. He was such a funny man too. Also so helpful and so much more. When COVID started Stoney would go to FOOD GIVE-AWAYS he would get food for us and many many others in need.. His mom also help. GOD BLESS THEM both. My deepest condolences to the family during this time of grief! Stoney was always a kind hearted, funny, and out going man and my kids thought he was pretty awesome as well. No matter what Stoney was going through he always tried to help anyone he could just to put a smile on thier face and I will NEVER forget you my friend! We all love you and will miss you terribly..... Until we meet again my old friend
