John H. Schroeder, 83, passed away peacefully Sept. 18, 2021 at his home in Clarksville, Arkansas. Born & raised in Wisconsin, he graduated from Wauwatosa Senior High School, Class of 1956. Beloved son Of the late John C. Schroeder & Helen H. Schroeder.
He is survived by his brother Kurt Schroeder (Terrie), sister Linda Harrod, and his loving partner of 21 yrs, Dixie MacLeod. John served proudly in the U.S. Navy and subsequently became a successful Southern California business owner. An avid, life-long tennis player, he reached State Competition levels while in Wisconsin. He retired happily to Clarksville, Arkansas in 2004.

My sincere condolences to John’s family and especially Ms. MacLeod. I wish I could have conversed with him directly. I promised him, through Dixie, to love and care for his beloved coupe to the best of my ability, and I intend to do just that. I am proud to be its second owner, and thankful for the chance.
