I just learned last night of Dennis and Kathleen passing from this life. I am so sorry for the sadness that all who loved them are going through. Kathleen was one of the first persons to befriend me when I moved to Omaha in 1972. She lovingly provided day care for Melanie and we became good friends. Dennis repaired an old car for me. He was an honest, capable, loving man and was loved and trusted by all who knew him. Two wonderful people who lived for the Lord and I feel sure he says to them well done good and faithful servants. I spent a couple of years working with Dennis at BF Goodrich in Omaha back in the mid 70's. What a terrific gentleman he was. So sad to hear of his passing. He's one of those few people you're lucky enough to meet in life that no matter how many years pass you always think of how great it would be to see him again. My deepest sympathies to the family, we were all blessed to have crossed paths with Dennis.

Knowing you for all these years has been a privilege, Dennis! You were always a true example of a Christian in every way. Your family has been blessed to have you in their lives. So have Roger and I. Now to all the family, you have all my condolences. Your dad was a great man! He was loved by so many people!! I’m so thankful that I had the privilege to know him and love him as my Christian brother. Much love to you all!
I’ve known Dennis for all of the years that we’ve both lived in Mtn Home, 1983, he from Omaha/ Council Bluffs and me from Pineville / Jonesboro. I met him in the Church yard of College and North Church of Christ. There was immediately a connection between his family and mine. We all spent lots of time together at their home, ours or other Church members. Dennis, you made me a better man, Christian, Father, Husband and friend. Great mechanic and so helpful in diagnosis and repairs of our vehicles and many, many people and families. I’m saddened at your passing, but I am so happy for the Heavenly Home that you are enjoying now with all the Saints, families, friends, and our Great God and His Son Jesus that will last forever and ever. I won’t see you again down here, but look forward to seeing you again up there. You prepared for this last life and as you (Dennis) would say, have you and I prepared for it?
Much love!
Our hearts break for you at this time. Keeping you all in our heart and prayers.
