I am so sorry that she was taken from this world before more people could get to know her and have their lives touched by her.

I’m so very sorry for you all. I didn’t know Skye personally but had heard lots of good things. Ive been knowing Jon since he was a little boy and his parents. My son, Jarrod, was childhood friends with Jon & Christopher. Jarrod & Skye share the same birthday. I’ll be praying for all of you, peace & comfort to move forward in life although severely damaged. Life just doesn’t make sense many times.

Skye,
You were the very first friend I had when I moved to Texas—mostly because you ripped my headphones off on the bus because you could hear me blasting Metallica. Our friendship has spanned over 20 years, through love and let downs, it’s made people question if we were more than just friends, it was the kind you have with one person—once in a lifetime. Thank you for loving me, for being there for me, for putting up with me. You are my favorite Hedwig song quote “A dream or a song, that hits you so hard, filling you up, then suddenly gone.”

Sissy,

So much to say and so much less time then I expected. I love you more then you know you were my rock at some of the darkest times in my life you were always there when I needed it weather it was driving from one state to the next and back in one day just to make sure I had time to say goodbye to my dad or making sure I had a place to run to when my life fell apart to just doing a sisters job of making my life a tiny bit harder with short girl jokes. You will forever hold a place in my heart and I will forever be your short pain in the ass younger sister. Life will not be the same without you but I will be sure no-one forgets you

20 almost 21 years I've known you... 21 years you've been a force in my life! I miss you Sis! Thank you for sharing your Joie du Vive with me and thank you for always being you! So undoubtedly, unapologetically you when I needed it! I gained a much larger family thanks to you, Jon, Brazen, Deanna, and Sierra. We will always sing in your memory!

We can only wonder what it is going to be like in Heaven when Skye joins loved ones!
Willing to bet it will include those "Loud Voices" and singing your family is famous for!

My beautiful Skye, the world is a much darker place without your light. You brought love to everything you touched. I will miss your angelic voice as we would sing every song from every musical, pause and rewind just so we could sing it again. Da da da dat da, dat da da da da ya da.
Through your eyes I saw a better world, a world uncomplicated. Your passion for life, your husband and your son gave all who knew you a glimpse of what a perfect family looked like. My heart is broken and I thought it was going to have a hole in it, but you reminded me that you would fill that hole with your memory. You left a small piece of yourself with everyone you knew. Fly now. Be free and shine bright and share with everyone in your new world the amazing spirit that we all had the joy, honor and privilege to know and love.
