SMSgt Kenneth Petray (USAF retired), 90, of Benton, passed away on September 11, 2021. He was born on May 26, 1931 in London, Arkansas to the late Andrew Jackson and Mary Kindness (Pless) Petray. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Lynch) Petray, two brothers; Bill Petray, Jake Petray, five sisters; Jewell Stane, Lorraine Glasscock, Mary Charleston, Ann Neely, and Lee Henry.

Kenneth retired from the United States Air Force where he served his country in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a Bail Bondsman in Saline County for several years. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Survivors include two sons; Bruce Petray (Kym) of Cotter, Arkansas, David Petray (Stephanie) of Little Rock, Arkansas, two daughters; Becky Skiles (Newton) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Jessica Wayne of Bryant, Arkansas, six grandchildren; Mandy Lynch, Andrea Harrison, Ashley Petray, Austin Petray, Kent Skiles, Alex Webb, four great- grandchildren; Kinley Oholendt, Paxton Harrison, Brett Lynch, Weston Webb, two brothers; Buck Petray, Rick Petray, one sister; Joan Miller, other relatives and friends.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
