We will miss you Uncle Chuck, we love you
Dixon, my brother Chuck there is so much I could say but I want to touch on what is the most important to me. Being the youngest of the 7 I was still living for myself at this time and not for our Lord and Savior. U and Jill visited me in Ga and with 7 kids. U spoke to me about the Lord and I was still playing drums in a bar band. U gave me a CD by Mercy Me, I Could Only Amajon. U told me how there was so many good contemporary bands out there. After listening to it and learning the words I felt things changing as I understood the words. Of course U and I was blessed with such great singing voices i did my singing around just a few people. I Tank U so much my brother and friend. We all enjoyed our own pizza party with 11 kids and 4 grown up that day. Thank U and Jill so much for showing me a different part of life and Thank U for bringing me to the Lord. My love always
I am very sorry for all of Chuck’s family. Though our lives took different paths, my memories of childhood play will always include my cousins. Fly high Chuck. I pray that peace is given to your remaining family and friends.

Blessed to have known Bro Chuck. Our family has many memories from the time we went to church together in Jonesboro. Will DEFINITELY be praying for Jill and family now and in the days ahead. Knowing one day we will all be reunited DOES give us PEACE. Love you Jill.
I will never forget getting to help you build the room in Kingston,or that camping trip in GA,or the late night nachos with peppers, or getting the encouraging call from you when I was in the hospital with cancer. You taught me many things that seemed so small but they were lessons I would use the rest of my life. I’m gonna miss your laugh. Give grandma and grandpa a hug for me.
Love,
Woody
My heart is broken to know we no longer have Chuck with us. He was such a true Christian and had a disciple's heart. My condolences to Jill, the kids/grandchildren and all family.
Chuck I will surely miss you;you was so funny, you knew how to make me laugh. I will forever treasure all the fun times we had in Kinston especially you giving my dog breathing treatments that was so funny. Now your walking with God and making everyone laugh with your jokes and humor, love you Chuck.
I will miss our talks. I am glad to have had you as a brother, disciple, and friend. Now you can do your thing with Christ literally by your side.

I am Praying for you my friend during this season in your life. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and your family. Love Shadrach
Chuck was one of the most encouraging souls I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I'm so thankful God gave me the opportunity to serve as his pastor. During my time there, Church served as a wonderful Children's church pastor and was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything that was happening. Even in challenging and difficult moments, I could count on Chuck to have something good to say. I love this entire family and all of you will always have a special place in my heart. I know that Chuck's faith is strong, and today he is rejoicing with his Lord Jesus. Blessings to this entire family. Much love from all of us. -Scot and Candy Loyd
